2 CREATING AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY
"It has made a HUGE difference in the lives of our child, ourselves and our family!"
Federation is proud to fund inclusion programs and disability services through endowments and distributions to our beneficiary agencies. One such endowment is the Goldberger Family Fund, established by Jay and Esther Goldberger, which provides funds for services including educational support, equipment, respite care and specialty camp for families whose children are on the autism spectrum.

David (not his real name) was able to attend camp last year with the help of a Goldberger scholarship. His parents say it made a huge difference: "We could not have afforded Camp Ramah without this help, and our child would not have nearly the same connection to Judaism and the Jewish community."
February is Jewish Disability Awareness & Inclusion Month
Federation also supports inclusion programs and disability services through our local and international beneficiary agencies:

• Transportation for individuals with disabilities

• Social groups, classes and wellness activities at the St. Paul JCC

• Counseling, disability services and support groups at Jewish Family Service of St. Paul

• Inclusion programs worldwide, like the JDC’s Israel Unlimited

3 HONEYMOON ISRAEL: THEY LEFT ISRAEL AS A NEW FAMILY
“What an incredible journey through history, culture, and religion with the best guides and surrounded by neighbors and new friends.” – Matt B.
Twenty-one Twin Cities couples just returned from the second Honeymoon Israel trip sponsored by the St. Paul and Minneapolis Jewish Federations. They toured Jerusalem, Masada and the Dead Sea, northern Israel, and Tel Aviv/ Jaffa. They framed the trip with a peaceful Shabbat in Jerusalem as they arrived and a lively, celebratory Shabbat in Tel Aviv as they closed their time together.
But most significantly, couples flew home as more than just a tour group; they left Israel as a new family. The group will gather for a Reunion Havdalah & Dinner in a month and is continuing to build connections with each other and our local Jewish community. Their time in Israel was just the beginning.
VOTE IN THE WORLD ZIONIST CONGRESS ELECTIONS
Make sure your point of view is represented in the next World Zionist Congress. When you vote, you will be able to choose from over a dozen slates representing diverse political beliefs, religious denominations and cultural traditions. Those elected from the United States will join delegates from Israel and around the world at the 38th World Zionist Congress in October 2020, the international “parliament of the Jewish people," to make decisions regarding key institutions which allocate nearly $1 billion annually to support Israel and World Jewry.

The Twin Cities Cardozo Society brings the Jewish legal community together to advance the philanthropic mission of the St. Paul and Minneapolis Jewish Federations in order to ensure the security and vitality of the Jewish people.
5 WELCOME STACY DOCKMAN, COMMUNITY PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Hello, my name is Stacy Dockman. I'm excited and proud to be the Community Program Coordinator at the St. Paul Jewish Federation. My new position includes the P2G program, Twin Cities Population Study and supervising the Shlichim program, PJ Library and YALA. The St. Paul Jewish community has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up here, married a St Paul guy and raised my two children here. Most of my adult life has been spent working at the St. Paul JCC and then recently at Beth Jacob Congregation. I look forward to new adventures and meeting new people in our amazing community.
