With more information than ever before, we know you’ll find the
answers to most of your questions on our website.
Hello Everyone, before we start our weekly newsletter we ask that you take our quick and easy 'End of Year - 2021 Survey'. This survey will allow us to understand how everyone's experience was in 2021. This will allow us to continue to build upon all our great programs and improve them to give YOU, our members, an even better 2022!
Dear Member, Stakeholder, Supporter,

Our indoor programs are now in full swing with a healthy mix of club programs and external users. We've got soccer, cricket, baseball and some disc golf on a weekly basis as well as our great track groups. Please assist our facility staff in leaving the field (a) as promptly as you can in order for us to transition to the next user and (b) leave the space clean and tidy for the next group. We specifically ensure each field and track is clean and organised every afternoon before the first groups come in. If everyone follows the same pattern we can have a great indoor season.

As a simple reminder:

No drinks in the dome EXCEPT water and no food/ snacks in the dome. Please help avoid the embarrassment of being asked to relocate to the lobby.

Our Lost and Found has built up very quickly since the return. As a reminder, Ontario Soccer strongly recommends that no Lost and Found is kept at all during the pandemic. Please check to see you are not missing anything (water bottles in particular!) and if you think it may be with us please ask the next time you are in. We will be dropping the current Lost and Found items at The Salvation Army on December 1st.

We have limited field time slots available on the weekend and plenty of non-prime time available weekdays before 6pm. If you would like to schedule extra training for your team or just meet with a group of friends please contact LISA HERE
Help Support our All Abilities Program
Our first PFC All Abilities Book is now available!

Author and illustrator Anusha Broekhuyse joined us as a volunteer at the height of the pandemic, assisting with our virtual soccer programming. She then brought her love of our program to the field and joined us this summer as an All Abilities Coach.

We uncovered Anusha's amazing artistic talent which lead her to writing "Logan Learns to Play". She used her visual art skills to illustrate the enjoyment, fears, and challenges that youth living with disabilities face on a daily basis and hopes that this book will help inspire more children living with intellectual and/or physical disabilities to participate in sports.

Anusha is donating ALL proceeds of book purchases back to our All Abilities Program. "Logan Learns to Play" can be purchased from the front desk at the Pickering Soccer Centre for $15.00. You may also click the link below to purchase the book directly through Amazon.
PFC Facility Staff will be positioned in the lobby to check everyone in, subject to their vaccine requirements. PFC will not accept any abuse of staff or volunteers as we all try to navigate this difficult time. Please have patience and come prepared.
