Each year, the organizers of PNSQC like to add a little something special to the conference program, October 14-16. This year, we had so many ideas that we just had to include them all!
Lunchtime Panel Dives into DevOps
On Day 2 of the upcoming conference is the lunchtime panel, "Devops in Context & Practice." Speakers will be answering your questions, discussing real-world challenges, and sharing solutions that have led to creating quality products, delivered faster with direct value to need.
The panelists are Gerie Owen , Peter Varhol , Ian Savage , Robert Gormley , and Dawn Haynes . Moderator Sion Heaney will be focusing on sub-topics such as:
  • Integrating tools and processes across DevOps phases
  • Establishing expectations and effort towards building stable, efficient CI/CD pipelines
  • Creating strong communication, collaboration, and coordination within cross-functional DevOps teams. Basically, Scrummastery at its finest.
Manager Track Maximizes Learning
To better serve the managers, project leads, and consultants who attend PNSQC, we are starting up the Enterprise IT Quality Forum this year. It will focus on the top challenges managers face when delivering or acquiring quality enterprise systems in today’s quickly evolving business environments.
To maximize the learning and the sharing of ideas, this new Forum will run in parallel with the six technical tracks of paper presentations. It will be based on facilitated discussions on 4 topics, and each topic will be allocated 40 minutes.
There’s still time to weigh in on what topics you’d most like to discuss during the sessions.

It's Not Too Late for Early Bird Savings
Wait, you haven't registered for PNSQC yet?!? It's not too late to come to the conference, on Oct 14-16.

The conference offers 2 days of technical talks , plus a third day of workshops that dive deeper into topics.

Early Bird pricing ends Friday, September 20. Plus, groups of 4 or more get further group discount rates.
We signed up for PNSQC 2018 after finding it rated as one of the best QA conferences around. We enjoyed the topics being discussed, and engaging with other attendees. A bonus — we loved seeing Portland, a place we had never visited.”
