The Juggle Challenge is One Month Away!
Get ready for the Juggle Challenge, the fundraiser with a kick! We are asking FC Richmond travel players to juggle soccer balls and raise money for childhood cancer research! FC Richmond has joined Team Lauren Cherry to support St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Players will attempt to set their new personal best juggling record during practice the week of October 7th. Coaches will record the individual records and team totals. Players who meet or exceed their age division minimums will be recognized at the FC Richmond Family Fun Day that will take place on Sunday, October 13th from 3:30-6:30pm. Prizes will be awarded for the both juggling and fundraising accomplishments!

FC Richmond Families are invited to the Family Fun Day on October 13th. Don't miss out on the Bubble Soccer, Human Foosball, Soccer Darts, Food Trucks and more! For more information click HERE .
Virginia Cup Success
FC Richmond travel teams played in the Virginia Cup in Williamsburg and Richmond over Labor Day weekend! Congrats to the following teams who were Tournament Champions: U10 Boys Navy, U10 Girls Navy, U11 Boys Metro, U13 Magic, U16 Magic, U17 Magic, U17 Mystx and U19 Magic! Congrats to our Tournament Finalists: U10 Boys Forest, U12 Boys Metro, and U19 Mystx.
Gently Used Soccer Equipment
Please help us support a local middle school who has a need for gently used cleats and soccer balls. Equipment can be dropped off at the bins in front of the sheds at the following practice locations: Robious Middle, Huguenot and Greenfield. We will be collecting items through September 28th. Thank you for helping us make sure all kids have the equipment they need to play the game we love!
Alumni Corner
Former FC Richmond Mystx player and current Richard Bland College women's soccer player, Lexi Spencer, scored 8 goals in their opening game of the season! The women's soccer team made history winning 12-0 over Southwest Virginia Community College, in their first ever game in program history. Congrats, Lexi!
"Beyond the Game"
September is pediatric cancer awareness month and many FC Richmond players went "Beyond the Game" to support this great cause. Players of various ages participated in the 10th annual Cookies for Kids' Cancer RVA City-Wide Bake Sale on September 7th. If you didn't get your cookies, don't worry because FC Richmond will be hosting a bake sale at the Recreational Games this Saturday, September 14th at RMS from 9am-1pm! Come see us to support a great cause and get a delicious treat!
Recreational Clinic
The Recreational Soccer Coach's meeting and Player's Clinic took place on Saturday, September 7th at Robious Middle Field 6. The weather was better than expected and the turnout was equally good. Players enjoyed spending time with their new team and bonding with their coaches while learning how to play freeze tag, foxes and hunters and Coach Bill's favorite, "Get Outta Here!" Several dedicated FC Richmond Travel players were there to help demonstrate and show the future of our club how to dribble with speed and get away from pressure.
