Dorothy Scott
Partner, Walkers

Dorothy is based in Walkers’ Cayman Islands office where she is a partner in the firm’s Investment Funds Group. Dorothy advises a broad range of clients including major institutions, family offices and emerging managers on all aspects of investments funds, including formation, structuring, ongoing operations, end of life options and regulatory compliance. Dorothy is home-grown Walkers' talent. She was awarded a Walkers academic scholarship in 1999 to pursue a dual honours degree in Anthropology and Law at the London School of Economics, qualified as an Cayman Islands attorney-at-law with the firm, successfully navigated through the ranks and was invited to join the partnership in 2014. Dorothy has a unique perspective on identifying, developing and retaining the next generation of high-capacity, growth-oriented leaders and her warm but no-nonsense approach is sure to inspire.
