First Sunday of Advent, December 3

We will again have a daily Advent devotion written by members and staff of Brookwood. Many of the devotions in this year's series are "repeats" of past years with some new ones sprinkled throughout. We hope these daily meditations will bring you peace and calm as we journey through Advent to the manger. The daily devotions will appear on the church website. Click here beginning December 3 to access the meditation. If you are in need of a hard copy, please contact Rosanna and one will be provided for you.

Preschool Nativity Play & Hanging of the Green

Join us as we start our Advent series Joseph: Faithful Father, Faithful Servant, every Sunday through Advent, December 3rd - 24th. During Advent we will have combined worship at 10:30am and Sunday School at 9:15am.

Christmas will be ushered in by the angelic voices of our children!
Sunday, December 3rd, begins with the Preschool Nativity Play during worship. These little ones will tell the Story as if we are hearing it for the very first time!

At 6pm, come enjoy the joyful singing from our choirs as we Hang the Green !

College Sunday School will celebrate the beginning of the season at the home of Anne & Mark Rector at 5:30pm.

The Youth, too, will celebrate with their annual Christmas Party in the SOC immediately following the Hanging of the Green.

Gifts for the Family - December 17
At 6pm in the Fellowship Hall, you're invited to bring a gift for the Church. It can be anything that represents your passions, interests, or talents. Some examples would be a song, a homemade loaf of bread, a painting, a dance, a poem, a joke, old family recipes, or your favorite story. Literally, anything that represents who you are and a talent or passion, we want you to bring it!

Whether you have a gift to bring or not, we want you to come and be a part of the festivities. While this is something new for Brookwood, the "gift giving" is not. Brookwood is a generous community, willing to share gifts, talents, resources and time with each other. Please join us. Click here to let us know you're coming and what gift (if you choose) you'll be sharing.
