The youth of  beyond 3:30 had a blast impressing the judges of #FeedTomorrow Week with their growing cooking skills! And there, in the back - that's our board member  Betty Gaertner on the judges panel!

We partner with the  Toronto Foundation for Student Success to make sure this wonderful program, which includes a healthy meal, cooking skills, nutrition education, physical activity, homework help and mentorship, can continue helping kids stay healthy and on track to bright futures.

Last year, 72% of  beyond 3:30 students said they gained a much better understanding of nutrition and food preparation, 68% became much more physically active, and over 70% improved their grades!

For over 30 years, MAZON Canada has dispersed critical funds to both Jewish and non-Jewish front-line food projects across Canada.

Wondering exactly how your donated dollars have an impact? Here are a few more examples from among the 125+ organizations we funded this year.
  • Madawaska Valley Food Bank in Barry's Bay, ON are a model of one type of organization MAZON Canada loves to support - small, rural, have limited outside funding and are run entirely by volunteers. Our grant goes to purchasing highly nutritional food that rarely gets donated, like fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and eggs.

WINE + CHEESE 
The cold weather is upon us! What better way to warm up than during a cozy evening with MAZON Canada and Moishe House Toronto. We will have good wine, good cheese & good company for young adults in their 20's and 30's.

HANUKAH FAIR
We'll be tabling at Shaarei Shomayim's children's Hanukah Fair this year to spread the joy of tikkun olam to the next generation! Meet us there for some hands-on fun.
