Merry Christmas!
Teams present their gingerbread houses for judging.
The halls were decked at LPA as students and staff members celebrated Christmas together on Thursday and Friday. Elementary families gathered around a hot lunch to fellowship and enjoy the start of break, while secondary students held a Christmas party complete with music, food, and holiday contests.

Exams
A semester of hard work paid off for secondary students as they completed their semester exams Wednesday and Friday.
Getting into Character
Dressed the part, fourth graders gave presentations about the biographies of historical figures whom they had been researching for the last few weeks
The Mariner basketball teams hosted their first home basketball games this week! Monday, the LPA boys teams played the Stallions of at Union Road Church of God in Gastonia. (enter how the teams did here) Entering the season without a consistent home facility, the Mariners were excited and grateful to be able to host this game at Union Road Church of God.
Then on Friday, both the men's and the women's teams traveled to Westgate Christian school in Spartanburg. The Mariners will have one more game in 2017 on Monday, December 18th in Lancaster against Carolina Christian.
