Opening Spaces. Making Inclusive Places.
Back of the Sanctuary after each service
Double down for the new front doors! Chip in to make the patio a beautiful gathering space!  Our renovations this year will help make this a truly inclusive congregation. We are off to a good start on this final round of funding and we've raised $128,254 so far toward our $300,000 goal.  Every pledge, no matter what size, helps us complete our capital budget funding.  Details are on the UUCP website at the link below or visit the table at the back of the sanctuary on Sundays to talk to a capital construction representative.

80's Babies Small Group
Sunday, November 26 at 12:30 PM, meet in Sanctuary after second service
Facilitators:  Sarah Moore and Amy McKlindon
The "80s Babies" (formerly the Young Adults Small Group) is a place for those of us born in the 80's (70's and 90's babies also welcome) to come together and talk about issues important to us.  We are an open group, providing a safe space to share ideas, challenge each other respectfully, and connect with one another.

We meet the fourth Sunday of the month after second service (or the only service, depending on the schedule), when we'll gather at the back of the Sanctuary and then head off-site for food and conversation. Contact Sarah or Amy below for more information.

Justice Ministries Tables
Sunday, November 26 at the back of the Sanctuary
Sunday will be the last day to bring your gifts (wrapped, please) for the CHISPA children. Mothers will come to UUCP to pick up the gifts and join us for coffee hour between the services. Many thanks to all the individuals, families, and small group ministries who contributed to the very successful food box collection that will help feed refugee families during winter break. Your generosity is what makes this congregation a special community! In the spirit of sharing gratitude, the Advancing Justice table will offer thank you cards for all the organizations we supported with Share the Plate collections this past year.

Parent(s) of Young(er) Children Small Group
Saturday, November 25, 3:00 PM at the Orchard near 12th Street and Northern
For the 4th Saturday afternoon groups, we are going to try out our new "family style" small group. Bring the kids and they can play in the splash pad, on the grass, with each other or hang out with you while we have group. Group check in will start around 3:15 PM and will consist of going around the circle with names, introductions and answering a topic question. After the check in is complete with everyone, families can converse in groups, one-on-one or however they would like to get to know each other. Include the kids or let them play. This is more casual than a typical small group. This group is meeting at the Orchard located at 7100 N. 12th Street in Phoenix. Please email Sarah Montgomery below with any questions.
