Today is All Souls' Day. While All Saints' Day is a day that Catholics remember those who have already entered heaven, All Souls' Day is a day to pray for all loved ones and for those who have died. In particular, Catholics remember the souls of those who are caught in purgatory, undergoing a process of purification before entering Heaven. Let us pray for all the souls that are in purgatory and are in need of God's grace to help bring their souls to Heaven.
Quote from Francis:
"The Saints have found the secret to authentic happiness, which lies deep within the soul and has its source in the love of God."
We are all called to be Saints and to live as Jesus did. A Saint is a person recognized by the Church as being holy because of the way he or she lived. A
person
who is good, kind, patient, and that has all the virtues that are true examples of the Fruits of the
Spirit
. We strive to be saint like so that we can have true happiness in Heaven some day with our Lord. As we live each day, let us
remember
that it is not the big things that we do but the little things along the the way each day that bring us closer to living saint like lives.
Faithfully Yours,
Miss Giaquinto
