Pets Are Inn                         November, 2017 Greetings! HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We were honored to be selected as a finalist by the BBB for their Torch Award for Ethics. A very humbling award! As we enter the holiday season I cannot help but reflect on the past year. I am grateful to our wonderful clients who share their fur babies with us, our conscientious hosts who ensure that your pets are loved and well cared for, the pet chauffeurs who are careful that your pets are transported safely to the host and home again and to Sarah, my assistant who keeps everything running smoothly! Thanksgiving Safety Tips Make sure your pet has up to date tags/ID just in case they manage to slip through an open door! NEVER allow your pet to get meat or poultry bones! Other unsafe foods include onion, garlic, mushrooms, raisins/grapes, fat trimmings, bread dough, chocolate, and alcohol Make sure your pet has a quiet sanctuary they can rest in if it gets chaotic Make sure things like foil, wax paper, and food wrappings are all out of reach and secured! Pet of the Month: KC K.C. (Short for Kitty Cat) is a friendly kitty who has been staying with Pets Are Inn for 3 years. He is a 6 year old Orange Tabby and weighs 11 pounds. He is a fairly active kitty and loves to play and interact with people. KC is a great guest - he settles in very quickly..
