Christmas also can be a difficult time for people, especially those who have lost a loved one or are going through a change in their family. Christmas can call to mind, in a particularly acute way, the loss of family, the loss of friendship, and be an especially difficult time for those going through a painful transition.
It is important to remember that not everyone has a church home. This season, please remember that including others in our celebrations -- inviting a friend to join us for a service, or offering to give a ride to church to someone who is having trouble getting there - could be the greatest gift that you could offer.
Christ Church is blessed with a diverse and loving community. The activities are well thought out and meaningful, the music is rich and inspirational, and the story that we have to tell is more important than ever. Please join us for the upcoming events at Christ Church and, if you have a friend who is in need of some cheer this year, please do bring them along.
Blessings,
Susan+
