Richard Gehring Announces His Retirement from Applied Controls
Malvern, PA., December 1, 2017- Applied Controls, Inc. announced that Richard Gehring, Chief Executive Officer and President, will retire effective January 1, 2018. Richard (Rick) Gehring will continue to serve on the company's board of director's while his brother and current Chief Financial Officer, James Gehring, will assume responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer and President at the start of 2018. Much of the evolution has been driven by the Internet, and the ease of access to information that the Internet gives customers and sellers alike. That the Internet is a double-edged sword for salespeople is a foregone conclusion by now. That the Internet is a primary force of change in sales is also a foregone conclusion.
