Weekly Letter From Our Pastor

"Give it All"
This week your church sent out a letter inviting us to think ahead to 2018 and how we can financially support the exciting change that God is bringing to this part of Barron County through the outreach work happening at Living Water.  Church, thank you in advance for all you do to make miracles happen every day through this mission of serving others through Christ.  Your 2018, "Give it All" Commitment Card may be returned on or before Sunday, November 12.

New Moms Bible Study
We are super excited to be creating a place for moms to come together each week where they can explore God's Word, build relationships, and create community.  If this is something the Spirit has been nudging you towards, then PLEASE contact Jennifer Harder or Jessica Tischer (after worship or on FB) or sign up at Clipboard Central to get more information. They'd love to hear from you!

Sunday Message:  Overcomer - Fear
Our family's probably no different from yours when it comes to picking an evening movie to watch on Netflix or Amazon.  Everyone in the room seems to have a different interest and opinion!  Jill usually wants comedy, I always vote for action/adventure, one daughter likes foreign films, another 'anything Disney', and then there's the daughter who enjoys being scared from here to Hayward and back - a genre that truly escapes me.
Fears.  We all have them.  Question is, when's the last time you tried to name a few of your fears?  And if you can, what direction do you need to grow in order to put your fears in proper perspective in order to hear and receive Jesus' invitation to follow him with confidence and joy? This All Saints weekend we wrap up our Fall preaching series with this final installment:  "Overcomer:  Fears."

Living for Christ!

"May the Word of God live in you!" -Col. 3

Fear has two possible meanings:  a) forget everything and run;  b) face everything and rise.
