The Church Foundation is an independent organization serving the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide the offices of the diocese, parishes and other related institutions within the opportunity to enhance the power of their assets through the investment in the Consolidated Fund (CF), a high quality and cost-effective diversified investment vehicle overseen by The Church Foundation.

Christy Snead-Ferguson, First Vice President, Foundation, and Specialty Practices

SunTrust Bank

In 2017, The Church Foundation engaged SunTrust Bank, as custodian and fund accountant. Ms. Snead-Ferguson and her team worked closely with The Church Foundation through the conversation and implementation process. Through her guidance and oversight, the transition to SunTrust Bank went smoothly and Christy continues to be The Church Foundation's primary contact.

Mike Kerr, CEO

The Trustees of the Fund, Diocese of Virginia

Mike is the CEO of the Trustees of the Funds, the endowment and investment company related to the Diocese of Virginia, but which provides investment management services to any Episcopal entity in the three dioceses within the Commonwealth of Virginia.  He started this role in early 2014.  Prior to this, he had been the Treasurer/CFO of the Diocese of Virginia for over 20 years.  Mike is Chair of the Investment Committee of the Episcopal Church, and previously served on the board of Church Insurance Company.  He has served as faculty for CREDO conferences since 2001. He is an officer of the Diocesan Missionary Society, the lending organization of the Diocese of Virginia and also serves on several community non-profit boards.  Mike and his family attend St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Goochland, VA. Mike received a BA from the University of the South, an M.B.A. from the University of Richmond and is completing a certified financial planner designation through Boston University. He enjoys movies, reading, cooking and playing both soccer and golf.

Mike es el Director Oficial-Ejecutivo de Trustees of the Funds (Los Fideicomisarios del Fondo), compañía relacionada con la Diócesis de Virginia para fondos e inversiones y que provee servicios para el manejo de inversiones de cualquiera entidad episcopal en las tres diócesis de Commonwealth of Virginia (Estado de Virginia). Kerr comenzó esta función a principios del 2014. Previo a esto, había sido el Tesorero/GOF de la Diócesis de Virginia por más de 20 años. Mike es el Director del Comité de Inversiones de la Iglesia Episcopal, y anteriormente sirvió en la Junta de la Compañía de Seguros de la Iglesia. Desde el 2001, ha prestado sus servicios como parte de la facultad de las conferencias de CREDO. Kerr es un oficial de la Sociedad Misionera Diocesana, organización de actividad crediticia de la Diócesis de Virginia, también ha servido en varias juntas de organizaciones sin fines de lucro. Mike y su familia son feligreses de la iglesia episcopal St. Mary's en Goochland, Virginia.
