Principal's Message
|
Highlanders Families,
Sonia Fernandez, our Office Manager extraordinaire, has been promoted to become
Foothill's Secretary for the Principal. This a truly good thing for both Sonia and Foothill.
For the past three years, she has been an integral part of so much of our positive momentum and how we strive to get better daily as a team at Hewes for students and families. This will also draw Foothill and Hewes closer together.
Her last day at Hewes will be
December 22nd. If are in the office, make sure to wish her well, and we know she will make us proud!
The Force is strong with Sonia.
Congrats Sonia! You will be missed, but we are so thankful to have worked with you.

of
ways:
- Purchase treats/Hewes gear/toys at the PBIS Store every day at lunch
- Enter into the monthly school--wide drawings (pizza party w/ friends, Hewes gear, gift cards, etc.)
- Purchase food items during school-wide events
What
:
Students

band
for
consistently
displaying
Respect,
Responsibility,
and
Results.
Once
a
month,
teachers
recognize
one
student
per
class
period.
How:

Use

Bands
earn
students
many
privileges
including,
but
not
limited
to:
- Early to lunch pass
- Front of the Line at school-wide events
- Monthly giveaway (treats, Hewes gear, etc.)
- If you collect all 3, they can "trade up" for a JEDI band which allows participation in the end-of-year celebration day

Important!
- Students must be wearing the band to earn the reward
- Bands may not be traded, borrowed, replaced, or given away--students must earn these from their teachers
