November 24, 2017: Gratitude, Connection, and #GivingTuesday
From Thanksgiving to Christmas with Hanukah and Kwanzaa in between, the holiday season is full of traditions for many folks and Camp Stevens is no different! Monday evening, before we started preparing for our Thanksgiving Family Camp guests, the staff gathered for a potluck meal and offered stories of gratitude from the last year. We are grateful for each other, for this peaceful and magical place, for disc golf baskets, for good health, and for the stories that bind us together.

Here's to a season of traditions that are rooted in connection and gratitude. We're so glad you're part of our family!

God of the oak and the pine, the woodpecker and the mountain lion, hear our prayers for Camp Stevens. Inspire those who live at, visit, and love this place. Keep us safe from fire and other danger; and help us as we seek our mission and yours: to be a people and a place of transformation and peace. Amen.

Pig Shares Available
From June to December, the Camp Stevens pigs provide as much or more of the inspiration and challenge around our mission of environmental transformation as any other element of our farm and garden program. Raised on organic feed and food scraps and provided room to run and rut, the pigs live into their piggyness as we share, through feeding and conversation, a system that is good for humans and the land with campers and guests.

Pig shares are available and usually sell fast! Call 760-765-0028 or email info@campstevens.org to reserve yours today. $275 buys about 20 lbs of pork delivered to your door mid- to late-December.
