Illinois Association of School Boards Triple I Conference - Administrators and Board members attended the Triple I conference in Chicago, December 17 and 18. Superintendent Gordon, Chief Communications Officer Erika Krehbiel and Board members President Stephanie Clark and Erica Nelson presented a session about the Long-Range Plan to a standing room only crowd of over 100 people.

Legacy Goals - Dr. Gordon reminded the Board and community about the Board of Education Legacy Workshop that took place on August 19, 2017. Many of the current conversations happening in the District and at the Board table directly connect to Board Legacy Goals such as being a model school district, district budget and program space. In relation to budgeting and proposed reductions, Dr. Gordon expressed that he and his cabinet team will not be presenting any reductions to current programs, which includes AEC, PBL, Dual-Language, and FLES.

Assistant Superintendent for Finance, Facilities and Operations Eric DePorter explained the timeline of when the levy needs to be filed. Board will take action on the levy on December 18.
