We are excited about our Godly Play Christmas play this Sunday, at the 11 AM worship service, and we encourage all of our parish's younger children, ages 4 thru 10, to participate! If your child will participate in the play, notify Fr. Jenkins today by phone or email.  Children will meet at the baptismal font to rehearse the play in the church during the 9:30 AM formation hour this Sunday.

Don't miss our high school Convocational Ski Trip to Sugar Mountain February 16-18. We will leave Augusta February 16, from the Saint Paul's parking lot at 4:30 PM and arrive back in Augusta February 18, by 6 PM. This allows for one and a half days of skiing. In order to sign-up and reserve your spot, please email Ranie and send $50 per student to Saint Paul's cash or check, or electronically on the website, saintpauls.org. (Use the on-line tab, select "EYC Mission Fund" under the drop-down menu and in the "comments" section provide the parent/guardian name and the name of the student(s)). THE DEADLINE TO SIGN-UP IS MONDAY, DECEMBER 18TH.

The Saint Paul's Choir needs basses
The Saint Paul's Choir needs basses. Could this be your contribution to our worship? Please contact Director of Music, Keith Shafer, and let him know of your interest. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 PM and Sunday mornings at 10 AM.
VESTRY NOMINATIONS REQUESTED

The Vestry Nominating Committee is seeking candidates whom you believe would make outstanding Vestry members for Saint Paul's. If you'd like to suggest someone, including yourself, please contact Wright Montgomery .

VESTRY RESPONSIBILITIES
The basic responsibilities of the Vestry are:
· to help define and articulate the mission of this congregation
· to support the church's mission by word and deed
· to support the clergy
· to ensure effective organization and planning
· to manage resources and finances
· to attend monthly vestry meetings and annual vestry retreat
· to serve as liaison to assigned parish committees
This is a 3 year term.

MINIMUM CRITERIA
To be eligible for the Vestry, a nominee must answer "yes" to all of the following questions.
· Have you been confirmed or received in the Episcopal Church?
· Do you regularly attend worship services at Saint Paul's?
· Are you a pledging member of Saint Paul's?

CANDIDATE PROFILES
Each nominee slated to run for election to the Vestry will be invited to share a profile with the parish via our regular parish communications including the weekly newsletter.

Tuesday's Music Live Returns 
Tuesday, January 9, 12 noon

Tuesday's Music Live, 30th season continues Tuesday, January 9, with a free concert by The Charlestones at 12 noon. Lunch, catered by It's Official, is available after the concerts by advance reservation. Let the Good Times Roll! Plan to come to Mardi Gras, February 10, 2018 at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $50. They will be for sale in the Narthex at the 11:00 AM service every Sunday from January 7th until the event and in the church office and online starting January 4th, 2018.
