#GivingTuesday is Nov. 28th
Childhood homelessness has doubled in Florida over the last 7 years.  Now more than ever we need your help to stop the trauma of childhood homelessness and make a brighter future for local kids. 

Please take a moment to read our holiday letter. This year we have added two new affordable housing programs, Rapid Rehousing and Partners in Housing; and added a summer art curriculum for kids called PhotoVoice.
 
Family Promise has already served 37.5% more people than 2016 and we are still working hard to serve more families in need. Help kids like Sandy and Semyah by  donating online to support our shelter operations .

Spirit Night December 11th at Northwest Grille from 4-10 pm  at 5115 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32606. Mention Family Promise  and 10% of the proceeds to go to support our shelter. 
Santa and Ms. Claus will join us for a portion of the evening as well!

Family Promise is working to end homelessness-one family at a time.

Be sure to check our website for upcoming events as well, but we wanted you to be aware of the following: 
  • November 28th: Giving Tuesday - national day to donate to places like Family Promise
  • December 11th: Spirit Night at Northwest Grille
  • January 27, 2018: Garage Sale at Grace at Ft. Clarke Methodist Church 8 am - 2 pm 
  • March 21, 2018: Amazing Give Kick-off event at Cypress and Grove from 6-9 pm.$1 from every beer purchased will go toward Family Promise shelter!! This event starts our 24-hour online fundraiser is a community-wide effort to support local nonprofits. Keynote speaker is Senator Keith Perry.
  • May 5, 2018 is our annual bed race, held at Trinity United Methodist Church from 9-noon.
