A word from Michael Zimmerman, General Manager

Welcome all members to the indoor season at Toronto Tennis City. The renovations are nearly fully completed and looking fabulous. Laminate oak flooring has replaced the old carpet and the interior has been painted in a beautiful new color scheme. New shutters will be in place in the coming weeks. The LED court lights have been cleaned and the bubble is brighter than ever.
Mark December 7th in your calendars as it is the date of our holiday tennis mixer and party. We will once again feature live jazz and great refreshments.

Enjoy your tennis!

Daytime Doubles Ladder

Find a partner, or ask us to help you find one and join our NEW doubles daytime ladder! Men's and women's teams or mixed teams can join. The ladder will provide a variety of playing opportunities, a chance to meet new members and fun competition! The winning team will receive a complimentary semi-private lesson focused on doubles strategy.

The ladder will begin on November 13th. There is no cost to join. Rules will be submitted to all participants before we get started.

Please contact Craig at  [email protected] to sign up or if you have any questions.

Singles Ladder Update

Our singles ladder has more participants than ever with 44 players! It does not matter if you prefer to play during the week, or weekends or the level of your game.
You'll find players with whom to play on our singles ladder.

Congratulations to Michelle Kassel for winning the last session of the ladder!

Doubles Round Robin

We had a great turnout and a fun time at the Doubles Round Robin on October 26th. Our next Doubles Round Robin will be held on  Thursday, November 23rd from 7:30 - 9:30 pm.  All levels are welcome to join and can do so online
COACHES CORNER

"Why should I play doubles?"  by Benjamin Cayuela

Come have fun and play doubles with us!
Get involved in the ladies doubles  practices, our doubles daytime ladder, or evening doubles round robin events.
Why? Playing doubles is so much fun, the best way to find partners and to socialize with the "Toronto Tennis City community".
Through playing doubles you get to be part of a team, improve your singles game, learn new tactics, and much more!

On Mondays, we have been working with the ladies regarding  teamwork, signals during their matches, and being able to communicate efficiently on court " Mine! Yours ! Switch ! Up ! Back ! ..."
The next step would be to integrate signals to develop a plan on every single point. I am telling you, it's lots of fun!

You can have a look on the link below on how to use signals while you play doubles. https://youtu.be/NXoOGJkBIuQ

Feel free to contact us at anytime if you'd like to know more about how you can get involved in playing doubles at the club.

See you soon on the courts.
