A Wrap on Regionals

The 2017 Regional Meetings wrapped last week, after visits to our seven southern regions. A big thank you to the SUMA Regional Directors for their enthusiasm and the coordination of these meetings, and to all of the host communities for the hospitality. And of course, thanks to all the attendees. We value this chance to get your feedback, hear your issues, and talk to you face to face.

Check out the Facebook album to catch a glimpse of the tour. Presentations will be available on our website later this week.

We will be kicking off registration for Convention 2018, The Power of Hometowns, on Monday, November 6, 2017. Watch your municipality's main contact email that day for an invitation to register. The email will include a link to register and the convention brochure.

It is important to designate one person in your municipality, such as the administrator or CAO, to register all the delegates in your municipality. The early bird deadline is Thursday, December 21, 2017, so be ready to register before prices go up.
