I hope you're having a good week. As the weekend approaches, I want to invite you to join us here at church on Sunday. It's going to be a great day together! At our 8:30 worship service, I'll be preaching on
Isaiah 61:1-11, and we'll take a look at some scenes from
Miracle on 34th Street to help us think about the passage together. We'll also share in Holy Communion together. At our 11:00 worship service, our Chancel Choir and Adult Handbell Choir will lead us in our traditional
Service of Lessons and Carols.
At 5:00 on Sunday, our handbell choir will present their annual
Holiday Concert in our sanctuary. Following the concert, we have our annual
Christmas Dinner in Carpenter Hall. Plan now to join us! And check out our full schedule for the remainder of the season
here.
The holiday school break means it is time for
Feeding the Children! We'll prepare and deliver meals to children in our community every day of the break except Christmas. We're still in need of help - so
click here and sign up to prepare and deliver meals. This is truly one of the greatest ministries of our church-if you haven't been part before, be sure to sign up!
Thank you for the joy of serving as your pastor. May God bless you today and always. I'll see you on Sunday!
Peace,
George
