Join Us for Christmas Caroling!
Sat Dec 16 | 12:30-3:00pm
All ages, all singing abilities invited! We will run through a couple of songs and head out. We will be visiting special friends of Parkway to celebrate the season with songs and fellowship. Contact Kevin: [email protected]

More Caroling! We have packaged 97 bags of candy for the children who live in a complex of immigrant families off Hodiamont Street in St Louis City. We will leave the church at 3:00pm-along with Santa-to deliver the candy you so generously supplied. If you wish to join us we will be singing Santa songs. If anyone has a guitar that would be great.
Questions? Contact Carol Wilbois 314-570-2047.

Worship with Us this Weekend!

Please join us this Sunday for Advent Three - JOY!
Traditional Worship at 9:30am when our Hebrew scripture passages are Psalm 126 and Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11. Our gospel lesson is from Luke 1:39-57 when Mary travels to see her cousin Elizabeth. She shares the joy of the great news from the angel. Elizabeth is also pregnant (with John the Baptist) and the baby jumps in her womb when Mary approaches! Our sermon is entitled Seeing and Being Joy.

Informal Worship at 11am includes the Christmas Pageant.
Come experience the Christmas story via our kids' drama.
Voices of Grace will also sing.

We continue to receive your monetary gifts for our 2nd Mile Advent/Christmas mission partners - Circle of Concern; International Institute and The Christmas Fund. Thank you!

As a follow-up to our Adult Education sessions last Sunday and as an echo of our deep rooted social justice witness in our beloved UCC, a few PUCCers will be in the Gathering Space between worship services to help move our community forward! They will have petitions for anyone willing to sign-to get some initiatives on the ballot here in Missouri next autumn. The grass roots movements we are highlighting are Clean MO (campaign finance reform) and Raise Up (raising the minimum wage). In this season of sharing and caring, we want to give you the opportunity to do good in this world by raising your Christian voice for others.

Please bring two dozen of your favorite Christmas treats this Sunday for Fellowship Time - just set them on the table in the Gathering Space upon arrival!
Yum! Fun!

Inspiration
A prison cell, in which one waits, hopes... and is completely dependent on the fact that the door of freedom has to be opened from the outside, is not a bad picture of Advent. -Dietrich Bonhoeffer
