Annual Appeal 2017

Aquinas & St. Mary's Catholic Schools cannot solely rely on student tuition and parish support. The total cost for us to educate one student in the K-12 system is $7,315 compared to an average of $19,000 for area public schools. The average tuition and fees at Aquinas & St. Mary's is $1,330. The David City deanery parishes donate a subsidy per-student of $3,877. That leaves a funding gap of $333 per student, or a total of $125,000 for our budget. Gold Rush and the Endowment disbursement help some to offset the deficit, but it does not completely cover it.

The Annual Appeal is comprised of both the Phone-a-thon and the parish appeal. If you gave to the Annual Appeal through the Alumni Phone-a-thon, we thank you very much.

We are excited to offer easy online monthly recurring gifts or one time donations using your credit card.

Adopt-A-Parish
Aquinas & St. Mary's Catholic Schools are supported by 13 Parishes in the David City Deanery. Without the support of these Parishes, Aquinas & St. Mary's would not be able to provide over 500 students the opportunity to a Christ-centered education that prepares them for the future, spiritually and academically. Beginning in October, every K-12 Class has adopted one of these Parishes and will be showing their appreciation throughout the school year. During November every class has sent their Parish a Beyond Blessed Class Picture.
