This past week, we participated in a school wide Lock Down Drill. The students in both classes did a fantastic job at putting into action, procedures and protocols they have been taught for emergency situations.

The Preschool class took a Field Trip to Lake Zurich Fire House #3 on Thursday evening. They learned all about what Fireman do, where they work, sleep, and eat while on duty, and also toured the Fire Station, ambulances, and fire trucks.

The Kindergarten class celebrated the meaning of thankfulness by ending their week with a kindergarten-style Thanksgiving feast. They invited the Ladies’ groups from the congregation, who joined them for dessert. We have so much to be thankful for!
