Call for Fashion:

Afternoon Tea and Fashion Show

KACC is seeking a few vintage clothing items for a fashion show to be featured at an upcoming tea.  These items will be worn by models so they must be in excellent condition and not susceptible to damage.  This show will focus from 1900 - 1970s.  You may wish to model your own items, too.  Many vintage fashions are tiny so we will be looking for a couple of size 2 - 4 models most likely.
If you have items that you would like to share or are willing to model, email Debbie Minns, show coordinator at  [email protected].  A description of the items offered, date, and photo if you have it would be great.
NOTE:  We will be selecting just a few items from each decade so we may not be able to use everything offered.

Afterschool program:
KACC is excited to introduce Art After School program beginning Jan 15th. Classes are Monday & Wednesday for 1st through 3rd grades and Tuesday & Thursday for 4th through 6th grades from 3:30-5 p.m., and run through May 31st  (with spring break).
During this semester long program, your child has the opportunity to experiment and create with a variety of media and will explore art history and world culture. Through creative self expression and hands-on learning, not only will your child increase his or her knowledge of art, but participants will also build new problem solving skills and concepts while becoming part of a community of fellow art enthusiasts!
The cost for the semester is $425.  You can begin your registration below, and a full registration packet will be emailed to you. Packets are also available at 228 Earl Garrett Street. Call 830-895-2911 for more information!
Dine with the Arts
KACC presents "Dine with the Arts" series - In this series, we explore the world of art from lyrics to art styles.  Bring your dinner, friends and beverage of your choice and join in the fun.
In January, we will explore the works of Leonardo Da Vinci.  He is arguably the most well-known artist in the world and yet he lived more than five centuries ago.  Who was this man and what was it about his works that stood the test of time?
Saturday Jan 13th, 20th and 27th, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The three part series will look at:
  • The life of Leonardo Da Vinci
  • The art of Leonardo Da Vinci
  • The inventions of  Da Vinci
