Music at The Mission
Our October house concert was a success! The Kelly & Ellis concert was sold out and we enjoyed an amazing show filled with great music, intelligent lyrics, and entertaining stories. For those of you who attended, it was a night to remember!

This month C. Lynne Smith will bring her unique blend of dynamic, soulful vocals and intricate guitar picking to The Mission Inn for our second house concert on November 25th at 7 pm. Whether you are staying the weekend with us, in town just for the night, or you live in the Cape May area we invite you to share this intimate music experience.

Click here to RSVP for the November concert. Seats are limited so please reserve early! For more details about the Music at The Mission house concert series, click here .
New Adventures for Susan & Ray
It's been almost a year since Susan and Ray officially retired from inn keeping and sold The Mission Inn. As many of you know, they still call Cape May their home and are enjoying their new free time by being busier than ever.

To mark the one-year anniversary of their retirement we asked them to write a letter to update you all about their new adventures.

Click here to see what they've been up to.
Mid-Week Specials
Looking for a fall getaway? We are currently offering a Wine & Dine package and a Trolley Tour Package for our guests who plan a mid-week visit in November or December. Click here to learn more.
Nina's Villa Returns Home
Artist Nina Woloshukova Scull lived in The Mission Inn when it was a private residence from 1950 through the mid-1970's. During her time in the house, she used the solarium as her art studio where she held painting classes for local Cape May residents.

And she also created her own works of art, including a painting of the veranda with it's original ocean view. This picture entitled "Nina's Villa" was recently tracked down by long-time guest Ken Peterson. After a few phone calls with the owner in Vermont, the painting was returned to The Mission Inn. It is now being refurbished and will soon hang in the dining room for guests to enjoy.

Exactly how the painting ended up in New England is still a mystery, but thanks to Ken's detective work we were able to bring this timeless piece of The Mission Inn history back home where it belongs!
Out and About in Cape May
Cape May is a great place for a Girls Getaway weekend!

Friends and former co-workers Joanne, Jenny, Sophia, Roxanne, and Michelle reconnected at The Mission Inn this fall to enjoy a weekend filled with good conversation, good wine, and good food. They also managed to squeeze in a haunted trolley tour, a nighttime walk on the beach, and some shopping downtown - while celebrating two birthdays!
