Blue Christmas Service
Sunday, December 3 at 4pm
First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster

The Blue Christmas Service is a reflective and quiet approach to Christmas for those who are grieving a loss of any kind and those who desire to support the losses of others, our nation and the world. In the hustle and bustle of the holidays, the contemplative, candle-lit setting promises respite to weary hearts and a place where hope can be kindled. You are invited to bring a memento of your grief to place before God in worship. Afterward a simple meal of hot soup and bread will be served in the Lobby. New this year, a child grief expert will be on hand after the service to provide assistance on how to help young ones that are grieving. The Labyrinth will be available as a tool in a "grief walk" both before and after the service.
