Hot Breakfast
Breakfast this coming Sunday, December 10, will be provided by guest chefs, Rick & Mason Rummel.     
 
Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45 where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship.   
 
SUNDAY WILL BE OUR LAST BREAKFAST FOR 2017.  We will resume in January 2018. 
 
Altar Flower Memorials for 2018 
It's time to renew your dates for 2018 altar flower memorials.  
 
Letters with order forms have been sent to the previous year's donors. Please respond promptly since renewals are honored first.  
 
New donors are also welcome and encouraged to respond with a date!  
 
Please call Ursula Brooks at 245-1342 so she can gather all necessary information.  
 
Christmas Pageant! 
Come one, come all! There will be a brief informational meeting and Christmas Pageant rehearsal on Wednesday Dec. 20th at 7:00 PM.  
 
We will meet in Board Hall. Pizza will be served following the gathering. Please contact Rev. Shelley for more information!  
 
All are welcome! Family & friends of parishioners are also invited to participate in the pageant!
 
Centering Prayer 
Reminder that there will be no Centering Prayer in December due to the Christmas holidays.
 
We will next meet on the fourth Tuesday of January, January 23rd at 6pm.

Reflections Plays for St. Luke's  
Saturday, December 16th: An Advent Contemporary
Lessons and Carols Service at 5:30 pm
This year, Reflections will offer a wide variety of songs to go with the readings, ranging from "an African-American spiritual, also known as a "cumulative" song, to beautiful Advent pieces that help prepare us for the Advent season, to favorites including, "Breath of Heaven" and "A Hallelujah Christmas." This year we are especially excited to feature two violinist, Scott Moore and Erica Pisaturo, accompanying Reflections on most of the musical selections.

Sunday, December 24th (Christmas Eve Celtic Service at 6:30)
Always a favorite for Christmas Eve, the 6:30 pm Celtic Christmas service will feature Ms. Chelsea Balmer on harp, with additional accompaniment by violinists, Scott Moore and Erica Pisaturo. This year, Christmas Eve preludes will be presented separately, by Scott Moore and Erica Pisaturo...and Chelsea. In addition to music from the Glendalough Mass, the celtic beat will always be present in both the various anthems as well as the traditional Christmas Carols sung with the congregation.

Your order must be received by 3:00pm on Tuesday December 19. Pick-up is at church Saturday, December 23 from 9:00am to noon.

Christmas Decorations  
The decorating of the church with poinsettias and wreaths for Christmas will be Saturday, December 23 at 9:00 a.m. We request that as many of you that are willing and able, please come out and help.
 
Save the date to un-decorate the church on
January 7, 2018, after the 10am service. Remember, many hands makes quick work, and more fun!

Church Office Closing  
The parish office will close on Friday, December 22 and will reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

Wednesday, December 27 
There will be NO bible study or evening Eucharist.  
 
Both events will resume the following Wednesday, January 3rd.  
 
December 30 & 31 
On the weekend of December 30th and 31st, we will be observing our regular worship schedule.
