All over Florida, Women United groups support their local ReadingPals programs in various ways. From group read-ins, to serving as volunteers themselves. Year after year, Women United members commit their time and efforts to the continued success of ReadingPals.
For the past seven years, Women United of United Way of North Central Florida has sponsored an annual Holiday Luncheon to raise funds and increase awareness about our local ReadingPals program. This unique holiday-themed lunch invites local vendors to participate by offering fun, holiday shopping for attendees. The event also includes a delicious lunch as well as guest speakers and showcases our ReadingPals program. Proceeds from the luncheon directly support ReadingPals and often inspires guests to volunteer as ReadingPals themselves.
