Dear Storm'ers,

It's been about 6 weeks since we announced the details of the first-ever Haliburton edition of Storm the Trent, and things are continuing to shape up beautifully for what is going to be a truly awesome weekend of adventure racing next May 26-27!  One thing we have discovered though, is that our messaging around the race location has perhaps been a bit unclear.  We've since made some updates to www.stormthetrent.com to reflect the fact that the race will be hosted from the Village of Haliburton itself, rather than from an undisclosed location "somewhere" in Haliburton County.  Details of the racecourse are still being kept closely under wraps, but we didn't mean to make the host site a secret!

And while on the subject of our website, a few of you have inquired about training clinics for 2018, and where to find the related details.  Clinics will actually not be hosted in 2018 - instead we've taken all of the course content and transcribed it into a series of six tutorials which we've posted on our all-new "Tips & Tricks" page.  These are available free of charge, and include tonnes of handy tidbits related to the Storm the Trent race format, working with the maps and the various map features, and even some useful gear tips - all clearly illustrated through images and video!

Know of someone who's curious but a little unsure about what Storm the Trent is all about?  Send them to this new video trailer that explains how the race works in less than 90 seconds!
