As soon as power was restored, several community outreach events occurred.
With schools closed for two weeks and many residents without power, CDH transformed its Naples Chat Room into a
Kid Zone for children of workers who were still without air conditioning and power in their own homes.
The warehouse was used as a distribution center for the American Red Cross.
CDH trucks delivered food and water to residents in need.
Several CDH staff members volunteered at locations feeding those in need.
"Most importantly, we're just happy everybody made it through safely," says
Daniel Lubner, President & CEO. "We are counting our blessings. Throughout
the entire ordeal, we were happy to witness community spirit at every turn."
