Alumna, Maria Begley Ciampi '77
debuting holiday musical in NYC
Our very own
Maria Begley Ciampi '77 has written a new musical, Kris Kringle The Musical.
The Musical will be performed at Town Hall in Manhattan for two shows on November 24th at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Kris Kringle The Musical, narrated by legendary star Cathy Rigby, weaves a new and entirely original tale that will delight audiences of all ages. Based on one of the most familiar names of holiday folklore, this is the tale of a young, starry-eyed toymaker, Kris Kringle, who crosses paths with an evil New York City toy company CEO and finds himself wrapped up in a magical curse with the power to destroy Christmas. From the top of the world in the North Pole, Kris Kringle teams up with Santa and Mrs. Claus, the beautiful Evelyn Noel, a band of hilarious Apprentices and Elves, and magical Toys to remind us what Christmas is really about.
Let's support our Catharinite sister by purchasing tickets to Kris Kringle The Musical.

A bountiful Thanksgiving!
A bountiful Thanksgiving for many! The SCA community collected nearly 5,000 cans, more than double their goal, to share with the local community. This is one of many service activities the students work on together during the year. Next month, they will have a gift drive. The cans are being distributed through Mercy Center this week.

Sharing Christmas Joy
The Debate Club held a card making drive for Jacob Thompson a nine-year-old boy suffering from stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma cancer. His wish is to receive as many Christmas cards as he could to fill up his hospital room. Cards are on their way and we want to thank our students for their outpouring love and service to Jacob during this difficult time.
