Grand Prairie East November 2017
District News

Thank you parents!  So far this year, we have seen great responses from parents at all Campuses.  One of our goals this year is to increase positive parent engagement which will help every student reach their full potential and grow in all areas. We encourage you to attend as many parent events, including Parent-Teacher  nights and to volunteer to help out at your child's campus.

2017 Carter Blood Drive

The National Technical Honor Society Committee had a very successful  blood drive for the first semester at GPE.  OUTSTANDING EAGLES! They organized and managed an extremely successful Carter Blood Drive which yielded 29 donations.  We were able to help save 85 lives in North Texas. Thank you also to, Ms. Rochelle Northcutt, District Counselor, who spearheaded this blood drive with the leadership of the student body and the ongoing district, campus and community support that is given to this initiative.

Students who give blood twice during their high school years will be recognized by the Carter Blood Organization during their graduation ceremony with a "red cord" to be worn to continue to acknowledge their invaluable gift of life to those in need of blood.  Many Thanks to ALL!
