PRINCIPAL'S LETTER  

Dear Holy Name families,

Thank you to everyone who helped to make Grandparents/ Special People day such a wonderful event today. We hope our visitors enjoyed being at Holy Name School today.

Tomorrow is a busy day! We have our Thanksgiving lunch celebrations at 11AM and a 12:30PM dismissal. Additionally our 4th and 6th Graders will have their Walk Through California and Walk Through the Ancient Civilizations Presentations from 8:30-11AM. 4th and 6th Graders are able to come to school dressed in their costumes.

A letter was sent home today about a new school app and its many features. Please download the app. Should you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.

Please remember next Monday, November 27th, is a 12:30PM dismissal. We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the long weekend.

Monday, November 27, 12:30 dismissal (4th Monday of the month is a 12:30 dismissal day) 
 
 
 

 
   


 Thank you to HN school and parish for donations to the HN Youth Ministry, who assembled over 200 care packages for the homeless.


The packages will be distributed via St. Agnes, Faith to Justice outreach ministry.

The next Youth Ministry gathering will be on Dec 9th following the 5pm
mass. The focus will be Advent. During this gathering, we will assemble sandwiches for SVDP. Youth are encouraged to bake and bring two dozen cookies. One dozen will be used for a cookie competition, while the other dozen to be donated along with the sandwiches to SVDP.  (Points for interesting ingredients. )

EIGHTH GRADE FUNDRAISING NEWS
Our 8th graders are going to Washington D.C. in March! They are fundraising to help with their trip. One of their new fundraisers is a Shopping Party at the Sports Basement on Sunday, December 10.

Thank you to all the volleyball coaches and players for a great season this year. Special thanks to the 8-1, 8-2, 7-2, 6 -1, 5-2 and 5-4 girls' volleyball teams  for making the playoffs. Congratulations to the 7-2 and 5-2 teams for winning the championships!
