As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I am reminded of the many blessings that New Directions Career Center has received this past year, which would not have been possible without your generous support.

Whether it was a donation of your time, your talents or financial support, your kindness impacted the lives of women and their families in central Ohio.

At this time, we would like to mention some of our blessings that we have received the last month.

Thank You For Participating in The #BigGive!

Thank you for your support during The Big Give which helped raise over $63,000 for New Directions Career Center! We wanted to take this moment to express our gratitude for your generosity and promotion of the Big Give that resulted in a groundswell of support for New Directions Career Center.

We got into the holiday spirit by hosting a friendraiser with Dee W. Ieye and Sister Cindy on October 26th. It was a night of fun, laughter and making new friends to support New Directions Career Center. A special thank you to Grange Insurance for hosting the event and Nationwide Insurance for providing volunteers for the event!

O ur sincere thanks and gratitude to the Edmond J. Goold Fund at The Catholic Foundation for their continued support of our individual assistance program, which provides childcare reimbursement and transportation assistance support to the women participating in our programs. Childcare and transportation are two of the largest barriers impacting many women's ability to participate in our programs and this funding reduces those obstacles!

Thank you to the Siemer Family Foundation for their generous support of a $10,000 grant to benefit our core programming at NDCC! Thank you for continuing to champion the work we do!

Would you consider purchasing a special gift on #GIVINGTUESDAY? Giving Tuesday, November 28th , is a global day of giving back to celebrate generosity and kindness. And we have the perfect opportunity in mind!

Each year during our annual Holiday Hearts campaign we select single-parent families from among our program graduates who are in need of a little extra help. We support them by providing gifts for the children of those families. This is our biggest Holiday Hearts event ever with the selected families including 42 children! Parents have provided gift ideas for each child so now it's time to shop!

Our hope is that all of our friends, neighbors and supporters can help sponsor a child by purchasing one of the gifts requested so that each child can receive the gift they want this holiday season.
