I am excited to share with you this year's third edition of Commonwealth Insights. This new report brings advice from successful fundraising experts to inform and guide nonprofits' end-of-year fundraising drives.

This edition of Commonwealth Insights highlights innovative fundraising strategies to help our members as they head into year-end fundraising drives. It is a "virtual roundtable," featuring interviews with four successful fundraising professionals representing a diverse cross-section of the sector. We wanted nonprofits to hear directly from experts and take away actionable pieces of advice.

Here are a few key quotes from our panel of experts:
"What millennials really actually want when they're engaging with an organization is a chance to be with other people."

Mercy Bell,
Director of Partnerships,
Beacon Academy
"There is a culture of philanthropy that pervades throughout the organization. Everybody sees it as their responsibility."

Jodi Wolin,
Vice President of Institutional
Advancement,
Boston Harbor Now
"More people are are looking for ways to make a difference. Show them how they can change the world through your organization."

Margaret Keller,
Executive Director,
Community Access to the Arts

This is the third Commonwealth Insights published in 2017, made possible by support from the Barr Foundation. You can learn more and read all past editions of Commonwealth Insights at www.massnonprofitnet.org/CommonwealthInsights . Feel free to reach out to us with feedback.
