Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
The Good Life
UF Freshmen have to take a class called, "What Is the Good Life?" where they explore ideas about what constitutes the good life.  For us as Christians, the first letter to Timothy offers us these wonderful words of counsel: "They are to do good, to be rich in
good works, generous, and ready to share, thus storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of the life that really is life." (1 Timothy 6:18-19) Each week in this series, we will focus our attention on one way Scripture invites us into this life that really is life, or in other words, the good life.

This Sunday's sermon title is Live Gratefully, by Rev. Catherine Fluck Price.

The 6:35 Service this week will be a Thanksgiving potluck held in the Atrium. There will be no service next week (November 22) and will resume with a new series, "The Redemption of Scrooge" on November 29.

Trinity Foundation Grant Applications
The Trinity Foundation was created in 1995 as a way to provide long-term financial support for the mission and vision of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Gifts and bequests received by the Foundation enable our church to grow endowments that fund ministry opportunities for generations to come. Income generated from the general endowment fund has been made available over the past three years to support qualifying mission initiatives of the church.

For the year 2018, the Foundation Board has again authorized the distribution of the income from the general endowment fund. These funds will be granted to initiatives identified by ministry areas within the church that are consistent with the mission and vision of Trinity. The best applications will demonstrate innovation, creativity, and/or timeliness in meeting a particular need/opportunity outside the scope of the annual operating budget.

Applications to request funding may be obtained here or from the Foundation administrator, Laura Richardson. Deadline for submission of applications is December 8 and the applications will be considered at Foundation meeting on December 13.
Christian Love and Sympathy is Extended to
the family of Edith Halsey, who passed into eternity on November 8;

and to Carol Wilson and family on the passing of her mother, Marion Wetta Wilson, on November 9.
This Sunday's altar flowers are given in honor of Laura Richardson and Randy Graetz for their years-long dedication to the life and ministry of Trinity, by the Trinity Finance Committee.

If you would like to provide the altar flowers, please contact Bree
