This week, all the bags will get a two-pack of our fresh pizza dough balls. If you've never made pizza on your own or with our dough, click here for a tutorial. You'll also get some tomato sauce, cheese (options listed at your stop) and a 4-pack of Beef & Pork Andouille Sausage links for toppings. Vegetarians, you'll get a nice spicy topping option, too-- a pint of our pickled peppers as well as a dozen eggs (ever tried eggs on a pizza? Delicious!) All the bags will also have a head of lettuce, a bunch of kale, a quart of grape cider, one butternut squash, leeks, fresh pears, and some frozen tomatoes and corn.

Now is a good time to start making some dishes to freeze and reheat for Thanksgiving: most soups, casseroles and even desserts can be made way ahead of time and frozen. Let them thaw in your fridge overnight before Thanksgiving and reheat all the way through in the oven before serving. A word to the wise-- items with cheese and bread don't freeze and reheat well (think gratins or stuffing) so save those to prep next Wednesday. Here are our Pinterest boards loaded up with Soups & Stews and Fall Recipes if you need some ideas.
