WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ...................
November was a very busy month for us here at Sapphire. We did another food drive for Yes! Of America United for their "Holiday Smiles" program which helps families in need during the holidays.
We, also, had our second annual Professional Development Day,
Mission Possible-Together We Make It Possible.
The staff attended three panels consisting of an Escape Room, a Scavenger Hunt, and a Destress Panel where they were able to work on team building skills and ways to destress/exercise at work. The team also played a game of To Tell The Truth, with some of their co-workers as the panelists. The panelists had to give a unique fact about themselves that their co-workers would not necessarily know, the staff then had to determine which staff member the fact belonged to by asking the panelists different questions. The panelists were all aware of each others unique fact and were allowed to lie in order to trick the audience members. Our staff had a blast with this!
