The goal of Vision 2022 is to provide a lens which brings into focus our many accomplishments, celebrates friends and alumni of St. Francis Xavier School, and inspires investment in current and future St. Francis Xavier School generations, the future faithful leaders of our society.

Vision Check- Current View
A bench was installed recently near the Our Lady of Fatima statue on the school campus. The bench, a gift from Mrs. Ledoux's family to honor her 100th birthday, was appropriately placed in this location to provide a space for quiet prayer and reflection in this centennial of the Fatima apparitions. Mrs. Ledoux still comes to volunteer in our office weekly (just yesterday!), is always excited to reconnect with alumni, and is our school Prayer Warrior!
We are blessed to have her as a part of our wonderful staff who are dedicated to supporting our students and their families in a truly excellent education in the Catholic tradition.
Mrs. Ledoux taught many of our current parents, and some of our staff as well!
4 of our current staff members are St. Francis Xavier Alumni...
Do you know who they are?

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We recently held an Open House to thank our Parishioners and Call of Heart Donors for their generosity. We wanted to share how their support has assisted us in completing some short-term projects that directly benefit our students today.

Looking Back--Moving Forward
" I recently found a shoe box stuffed with lifetime memorabilia. Inside was a picture of my kindergarten graduation from St. Francis Xavier School in 1981. There I was, wearing plaid pants and a yellow graduation cap made by my teacher Mrs. Ledoux. I could feel a big grin beginning to form as I tried to identify all my classmates, many of whom I’d spend the next 8 years of my life with.  I ran to show my son, Dean, who last year graduated from kindergarten at SFX .
He did not wear plaid pants that day, but he did wear a white graduation cap constructed by the one and only Mrs Ledoux. I found it special knowing there was a connection between both our graduations. It also continued to validate the decision my wife and I made a couple years ago. A decision to send our children to St. Francis Xavier School. We struggled with the choice of Catholic School versus a reputable Acushnet Public School System. Looking back now, it wasn’t a hard decision at all. No price can be placed on a environment which promotes faith, family, and love to our impressionable youth. The school may have changed since my enrollment, but those core values have not. I see Vision 2022 as a means to preserve these values while continuing to provide a strong education for our children…… and maybe even theirs."
