How was yours?
Artists helping artists. Black Buddha Creative Agency and Artists Clear Houston organized an exhibition at The Collective to raise funds to support relief efforts for families affected by Hurricane Harvey. The artists showing their works were
Anthony Suber, Robert Hodge, Rabea Ballin, Damion Hunter, Linda Simien Kelly and
Ashura Bayyan.
Gail Mebane led an environmentally friendly workshop introducing her new product POLUTNOT, an art surface made from recycled plastic grocery bags that can be used instead of canvas and paper.

"Quilt Peace" has been reinstalled and is back up beautifying the landscape on San Jacinto street. Come by and take a selfie!

from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Fridays from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Community Artists' Collective invites you to learn about and to
work on textiles, including quilting, knitting, crochet and embroidering.
