As many of you know, we hosted our annual fundraiser on Saturday, October 28th supporting 3 local pet organizations.  This year, with the support of you, Supreme Pet Supplies and RAWZ Pet Food, a record has been broken.

We were able to donate over 3,000 lbs of pet food to Don't Forget To Feed Me Pet Food Pantry and 3,000 lbs of pet food to Operation Kindness. Additionally, we donated $1,100 to Big Dog Rescue Project.

What a remarkable difference all of these donations will make in the lives of so many needy pets as we enter into the holiday season.

We thank you for your support for our fundraiser, but also for the support that you show throughout the year.  

As we approach our 8th year in the community, we know more than ever that you, our customers are faced with more and more choices. From pet stores opening up to online businesses, the options can be endless.  

Thankfully, in spite of all of the added competition, you have continued to show your support to Bark Avenue, one of the true local originals. Our mission has been and always will be to focus on taking care of you and your pets by being a leader in holistic care. We understand the role proper nutrition and supplements play in the health and longevity of your pets. And who wouldn't want to add in a few fun treats along the way?

We are committed to ongoing education so that we can be the local resource for anything from upgrading your pets nutrition, ideas for preventing heartworms without drugs, and improving the quality of life of pets as they age, just to name a few.  We understand that your pets are your family, just like our pets are our family.

Additionally, we strive to make a difference in the greater community by giving back when we can.  For example, we support less fortunate pets that are being served by very dedicated rescue groups throughout north Texas including those organizations mentioned above.

As we look back over the last 7 years and as we make our way into the holiday season, John and I want to express how blessed we feel to have met so many wonderful families and their pets.  We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and for making such a difference in so many pets lives.
