In an effort to keep Magnificat 'green' we have been focusing on reducing waste during major events.

We are proud to announce that there was only one garbage bag of waste throughout NIB weekend!

December  Prayer
by Sister Helen Jean Novy, H.M., VP of Mission

Dearest Lord for Whom we wait
in this Advent time,
may we turn our thoughts
each day to understanding
all that Your Incarnation means
for each one of us
and for everyone in our world.
May we look for You in one another
and see signs of Your Presence among us.
May we rejoice in the Mystery
that You have sent Your Holy Spirit
to remind us of all You have taught us.
Then we will experience the deep peace
and profound joy of Your Christmas gifts
all days.

Amen.

A Lesson in Social Justice

On November 29 we welcomed (L-R) Joe D'Ambrosio (exonerated from death row), Judge John Russo (Abigail '19), and Father Neil Kookoothe to speak to the Magnificat community.

They spoke about service, social justice, wrongful conviction, and exoneration. Father Neil urged that each student take a "second look" at every situation because there is always a deeper story.

Congratulations to the Cast and Crew of CATS!

What an incredible performance and production. The audience was blown away by the artistry and hardwork that each individual displayed in this year's fall musical. A standing ovation for all!
