Christ Covenant School is a community that loves, educates, and equips our students to transform the world for Jesus Christ.

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,

We have a special treat this week .  Sam Jones wood fired barbeque will be helping out with Chicken Dinner.  Every year we season and savor some of the best Chicken Dinners in town, and the culinary expertise of one of America's finest grillers will add a special spice to the dish.

I want to thank Sam Jones and everyone who has taken the time to sign up to volunteer for the event, donated supplies, sold dinners, and particularly those willing to come early at 3:00 in the morning Friday to fire up the grills.  We still need people to sign-up here.

This year, we will spread out at the Upper School on Worthington Road where you can also pick up your meals.  You still have time to pay for your family and make some business sales through our online ordering site before tomorrow.  So take a moment and forward this form to anyone you think may want to bless his or her business, family, or friends with a dinner.

Pre-orders are only $8 a plate and all of our families should have 5 tickets.   The deadline for business orders has been extended to Tuesday, and we will deliver orders of 10 or more to Greenville and Winterville.

Finally, on the day of the event, 98.3 The Bridge FM will be onsite on the air with special stories from the school and community.  The legendary 8 grill wood-fired trailer from Sam Jones is a sight to see, and I believe it will be worth your time to come out, pick up your chickens, and share with others about the event.

Monies from the Chicken Dinner are allocated to the financial aid fund for our school, which provides tuition assistance to all families who qualify.  Your work to make this event successful allows us to fulfill our mission of loving, educating, and equipping our students to transform the world for Jesus Christ.

It also tastes really good.

Lower School Carpool
We are having a few issues with the traffic at Lower School Carpool and are concerned about the potential of cars backing up on Old Tar Road.  The safety and security of our students and families is the most important aspects of carpool. As such, it is with this in mind that we are asking families to follow these guidelines:
  • For those families with last names:
    • ...beginning "A - J":  Please arrive to carpool prior to 3:05
    • ...beginning "K - Z":  Please do not arrive before 3:05
  • Please pull as far up as possible to the car in front of you.  This allows us to use every inch of space and hopefully keep cars off Old Tar Road.
  • If you are first in line, please pull all the way to the end of the carpool line closest the handicap parking spots.
Thank you!
