Bradley Park Beautification
Ribbon Cutting Scheduled
The Preservation Foundation gave a presentation this week to the Civic Association Beautification Committee on the Bradley Park transformation project.
A Ribbon Cutting ceremony to re-open the park is scheduled for Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 9 a.m.

Storm-Damaged Town Dock Will Cost $300,000 to Repair
It will cost an estimated $300,000 to repair the town-owned dock at the northern tip of the island after it was damaged by Hurricane Irma, a town official said this week.

Beach Access in Palm Beach Remains a Source of Confusion
There are many access paths to the shore in Palm Beach, but knowing which paths are public and which are private can be difficult. There are two types of public beach access paths - those with public rights of way and those whose use is restricted to the residents of a designated street, Weber said.

Soccer Event Marks Official Naming of Palm Beach Field for Oakley Debbs
Oakley Debbs always wanted his own field. The town and Friends of Recreation dedicated the Seaview Park athletic field at the Palm Beach Recreation Center to Oakley Saturday in front of family and friends and a couple hundred people at the Oakley Debbs Memorial Soccer Jamboree.

Worth Ave. Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration in Palm Beach [Video]
The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Worth Ave. was attended by hundreds this week and included Santa riding in on a Fastboats Marine Group speedboat. Mary Robosson, VP of the Palm Beach Civic Association, was there for the celebration and recorded a video on her cellphone.

Utility Project Workers Hit Gas Main, Cause Leak in Palm Beach
Crews working on the project to bury utility lines on the northern part of the island caused a gas leak this afternoon when they were moving a line under the road and hit a main line, Palm Beach Fire-Rescue Battalion Chief Sean Baker said.
