ACT Academy 2018

This summer, spend five days at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. We'll help you tackle the ACT and answer your questions about college admissions, academics, and campus life. You'll get to work on test-taking skills, learn about the many exciting opportunities the U of A offers, stay in a residence hall and experience campus life.

We are excited to offer two sessions of the ACT Academy this year. You must apply for a specific session. If you apply for both sessions, and are accepted, you may only attend one session. Space is limited.

• Session 1: June 5-9, 2018
• Session 2: July 10-14, 2018

Please note that each session begins on a Tuesday, and will end with an official ACT, on a National Test Date (Saturday.)

Students who are ultimately accepted to a session will be required to register for the ACT exam that correspons with the session dates, at a local Fayetteville testing location. Further details regarding registration for that ACT will be provided upon acceptance to the program.

ACT Academy applications are due April 1, 2018.

Current high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply. Students will be notified of their application status via email by April 20, 2018. Given our heavy reliance on email communication, please do not apply with your school email address, as many districts have filters that block outside emails from reaching students. 

The standard program fee is $29. You will also be responsible for paying the $46 ACT registration fee.

Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch will be responsible for the $46 ACT Registration fee only. Verification of free/reduced lunch and test registration confirmation will be due after notification of acceptance.

All meals, housing, activities and supplies will be provided. Payment and test registration confirmation will be due after notification of acceptance. Both are required to hold your place in the session. Additional information, forms and payment will be required of all accepted students. Space is limited. 

 *** Please DO NOT submit payment or complete registration for a June or July ACT test until after notification of acceptance. There will be NO refunds granted once payment is received, and we can not assist with any cancellations or changes to ACT registrations. ***
