Celebrating the Holidays with Cool Yule

For the 2nd  year DuPage County's  Cool DuPage program  is engaging students during the holiday season with Cool Yule - a fun opportunity to make recycled or reused ornaments to showcase at the County Complex.  St. John's Lutheran School in Lombard  volunteered to be the 2017 Cool Yule partner and assisted in decorating the DuPage County holiday tree with ornaments.  District 93  ornaments were reused to continue the Cool Yule tradition. A big shout out to both partners, you can check out their creativity by following  Cool DuPage on Facebook  or Twitter, @cooldupage.  If interested in being a partner next year contact the DuPage County  Environmental Division  at  [email protected] .

'Tis the season of holiday light recycling programs. As you deck the halls, set aside your broken/unwanted strands for drop-off at a location near you.
