Here's what's happening at the YWCA
YWCA Holiday Hearts 2017

Interested in making a child's holiday a special one? We still have 53 children who need to be sponsored as apart of the YWCA Holiday Hearts Program. 

Interested persons are asked to fill out the attached form and return to YWCA Bucks County to receive a child's wishlist. Donations are also accepted.

We will be accepting gifts until December 15, 2017.

Grab a Burrito and support YWCA Bucks County

On December 13, 2017 come grab your favorite Chipotle meal and support YWCA Bucks County. 

How it works: 
  • Visit the Chipotle at 3580 Horizon Blvd, Trevose, PA 19053 at any time between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. 
  • Present the attached flyer or show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier at the time of checkout that you're supporting YWCA Bucks County!
November Highlights: Nordstrom Rack holds food drive, Ladies Night Out, and  Community Conversations: Barriers to Women's Health

It was a busy month here at YWCA Bucks County. It began with our friends from Nordstrom Rack in Willow Grove holding their own food drive for our Aspen Grove Food Pantry as well as volunteering to help restock the shelves just in time for Thanksgiving! 

On November 6, 2017 YWCA Bucks County Partnered with Bucks County Women's Advocacy Coalition to host "Community Conversations: Barriers to Women's Health" attendees included YWCA Staff and members of our community to come together and discuss the challenges and barriers women in Bucks County face regarding healthcare.To learn more about BWAC visit their website here: 

November 10, 2017 was our fifth annual Ladies Night Out: Designer Bag Bingo event. We had a packed house filled with family and friends! An awesome night filled with bingo, designer bags, and dancing was had by all. To see photos from this event click here:

Looking ahead to 2018

The year 2017 was a busy year at YWCA Bucks County - and 2018 will be no different.

In 2017;  YWCA Bucks County welcomed two new staff members.
